Visitors may visit at any reasonable time.

Please ask your friends and relatives to only visit during the visiting hours listed below and not to telephone during the Rest Period. Only urgent phone calls can be put through during the Rest Period.

• Hospital gate will close at 10:00PM.

• No male attendent is allowed after 10:00PM.

• If neccessary,after doctor's(EMO)advice male attendent can be called inside for explaining the condition of the patient/consent purposes.

What visitors can do to help prevent infection?

• Visitors should avoid coming to the hospital if they are feeling unwell. If they have suffered from any form of gastro, they should not visit for 48 hours after symptoms have ceased.
• Children that are unwell or just recovering from an illness should not be brought to the hospital.
• Visitors are welcome to use the hand washing sink or alcohol gel to clean their hands when entering and leaving the wards.
• Visitors should not touch the relative/friend’s wounds or devices such as drips.
• If possible, visitors should not sit on the beds or use the patient bathrooms. Public bathrooms are available on each floor.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any building, vehicle or area within the Mater campus.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones should be switched off in the emergency Care area,SNCU,operating theatres as they may interfere with medical equipment.
